my favourite pokemon is smeargle!!!

look at that little guy !! Smeargle is the painter pokemon. It doesn't evolve, and is normal type. it was introduced in gen 2, and is #235!! Smeargle has the move sketch, which allows it to copy almost any move. but other than that, smeargle isnt a very "strong" pokemon.
I first became obssesed with this little guy after catching a smeargle in pokemon moon. unfourtantely, I don't remember my smeargles name ;-; this is because I've reset the game multiple times, although I've actually never finished it (ᵕ—ᴗ—). My goal is to play through the entirety of moon one day, with a smeargle on my team, but rn I am playing pokemon black since I ♡ N.
as for merch, outside of the tcg there isn't much... Smeargle was featured in the picasso collab (since ya know, painter pokemon), a figure, and has a sitting cutie. Outside of that not much. One of my collection dreams is the smeargle plush, but they dont ship it to canada (╥﹏╥) (but I also understand some pokemon have less, my heart goes out to all truly niche pokemon and their diehard fans.)

my second favourite pokemon is toxtricity :33 I used a toxtricity in my sword / shield run, I think its so sillayyy.
Toxtricity is the punk pokemon. It is #849, electric/poison type, and was introduced in gen 8 / the galar region.
Toxtricity evolves from toxel, the cutest baby pokemon who I love. It has two forms, amped up (yellow) and low key (blue). Which one you get depends on your toxels nature.
The galar dark type trainer piers has a low key toxtricity, but I believe its not in his main team. Toxtricity also has a gigantimax form, which I think looks sick as fuck.

other than those two, my other favourite pokemon are zorua (huisian and normal), xurkitree, sprigatito, and espeon. My favourite starter is rowlett, and my favourite legendary is reshiram.

My current collection is pretty small, since I'm trying my best to be financially responsible (but yet, failing) (๑>؂•̀)
my cards are stored in three places:

• a random ikea container with my penny sleeves / hard sleevs
• a prismatic evolution espeon tin
• a small binder with N on it

the binder is this one specfically ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ (this isn't like. my binder. but a photo of the same one)

The container holds all my random items + support cards, the tin holds all my commons (organized by type ofc), and the binder holds all my cool cards !!! I don't actually play the game that much, since I only recently started getting into it. I've been mainly playing tcg pocket, but I want to try out live as well. Part of me wants to sell my commons + items + supporters so I can buy more sillays but I'm holding off incase I start playing more. I'm going to try to play more, since not to be sad but my two uni friends aren't coming back this year (◞‸ ◟)💧. So I'm gonna try to attend locals n stuff ♫
ne wayz onto some of my favourite / special cards in my collection. I'm going to be using images from seribii.net, that way they are crisp (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)

as my favourite pokemon, smeargle is the pokemon I have the most cards of. There are currently 16 smeargle cards that exist (i think lol) and I own 5 !! According to pokemonwizard.com the most valueable smeargle card is the #11 holo rare smeargle from the set Neo Discovery. This card is pretty old, releasing in 2001. The card is worth ~$38. I'm assuming usd.
I actually own the second most expensive card, which is the regular non holo version of the same Neo Discovery card. The website says its worth ~10-12 dollars, but I bought it for 1.50 cad so idk lol ╮(￣▽￣"")╭

moving onto my other cards, I have three toxtricity cards (..◜ᴗ◝..).

I would say my favourite is the third card shown. That card was a scarlet/violet promotion card, and the winner of an art contest!! IDK if its "rare" or not, but I think thats so fun. And I love how its not a full art but escapes the borders of the usual art.
after those two small collections, I don't have more than two of any other pokemon lol. I have a few cool ex (or gx, or vmax, you get the point) cards that I'll show here. Other than that my binder has mainly common cards with pokemon I like, reverse holos, and supports with cool characters. I might take some pictures of the pages, idk ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭
